Welcome Aboard

Greetings from Jill,

The joy of learning through great books just thrills my soul. There is nothing quite like sitting in front of a fire, wrapped in a blanket reading a great book. Because of my love for great books I shared that love with my children. What a journey it has been! God has blessed us with 7 children. All of them have been home schooled.

I love watching my children read. I find them curled up on the couch, laying on the floor with their head resting on our huge, loveable retriever. I even find them up in our London tree resting on a branch reading their books.

I have been teaching my children now for 18 years straight! Two of our children are now finished with college and starting their own families. One is studying to be a microbiologist. Any success we have had has been because of God's amazing grace in our lives. We gave them the tools to study, gave them lots of time to play, and introduced them to living books.

My journey is not over. I still have three boys at home, still reading and still learning. Won't you come with me on this journey? I would love to be an encouragement to you.
